Bill had contacted a university in New York and had to wait for nearly a month. During that time Bill and Anne stayed clear of the third floor. The report on the investigation state that the spirit was upset with the remodeling of the house. It was his house and insisted that it be left alone. The psychic discussed the situation with the spirit and reportedly they came to some form of resolution to solve the problem of the current owners ideas and the former owners ideas about the house. After this, according to Bill and Anne, the spirit has been seen periodi- cally in the third floor room, but has not been disruptive in any manner. The history of the house is that it was built sometime in the 1880s. The original owners lived there throughout their lifetime, passing it on to the children that remained behind. There have been several people to live in the house since then, as it was rented out on a frequent bases. The report of the investigation indicates that the spirit living there is that of the original builder and owner .
